Miscellaneous pictures..
These pictures are posted for various list services and forums.

New fiberglass bumper I scored at Pull-a-part.

I stole the liscense plate off the Porsche. I thought it looke better here.

A little elbow grease, Bondo and rattle-can spray paint works wonders.

Before shot for comparison.

Bottom side of oil cooler setup. No hoses yet, just wiring to oil temp and pressure sensors.

oil cooler prototype in progress.

thermostatic bypass, VDO oil pressure sender and oil filter

oil cooler prototype

Oil cooler in it's normal position. When operational, the flap will be gone and a solar panel will be covering the entire unit.

Thermostatic sandwich adapter I nixed.

Other side showing bi-metal coil mechanism which covers bypass hole when oil is hot.

I opted for this adapter to direct oil flow.

The flap was removed, a frame was constructed using 3/4" square Aluminum stock and then covered with solar panels.

The slots next to the solar panels provide the air flow. The pressure differential between the bed and engine compartment, while moving, provides adequate air movement through the coils.

The fan provides cooling while standing still. I was worried about drain-back overnight but have not seen any after two months of driving.

I mis-calculated the hose legnth as to allow the lid to be opened fully. That should not be hard to remedy.

The panels charge the secondary batteries which presently power the radio, satellite receiver and oil cooler fan.

Senders for the oil pressure gauge on the output and temperature gauge on the input. I have not seen temps over 195F.
